🌿 Meet Charlotte – Founder of The B-Hive Academy

Hello! I’m Charlotte – a qualified teacher, SENCO, and language specialist with over 12 years of teaching experience across state, private, and international schools. I’m also a mum of two, a cat lover, and the founder of The B-Hive Academy – a place where young minds can grow, thrive, and learn in a way that truly works for them.

I hold a Master’s degree with Distinction from the University of Cambridge and a PGCE in Primary Education. Throughout my career, I’ve taught children from nursery to Year 8, delivered French lessons across all primary stages, and supported a wide range of learners including those with SEND, EAL, and high academic potential.

I created The B-Hive Academy because I believe education should be creative, personalised, and inclusive. Whether it’s through one-to-one tutoring, small group sessions, or tailored support for home-educated children, my aim is to make every child feel confident, seen, and celebrated for who they are.

Learning with me often involves imagination, humour, games, and storytelling -My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, but always led by the needs and interests of the individual child.
